Why do people sexualize boobs when we could be doing this with them
Thanks boo! :)
Check out the question I answered recently on good, basic eye creams here.
Oh no this might be a long post because i’m very passionate about skin care LOL
Being the skin care addict I am I like to use quite a few products for my night time routine. In the day time I keep it simple with a light cleanser and moisturizer but at night I want to thoroughly clean my skin removing makeup and treat my skin. You don’t have to use all the products i’m going to mention but choosing one or a few to incorporate into your skin care routine is ideal.
Taking Off the Makeup
For a night time routine you want to give your skin a good cleanse if you’ve been wearing makeup wearing makeup all day! Washing your skin once for a minute or so won’t remove all the makeup and properly cleanse your skin resulting in break outs, clogged pores, etc. Try using a cleansing oil, makeup wipes, using a cream cleanser first, or just double cleansing (washing your skin twice) with the cleanser you already use. Cleansing oils are fabulous at breaking down your makeup and can be used for eye makeup and face makeup. They are moisturizing and gentle so you won’t dry out your skin like some double cleansing or makeup wipes can do.
Cleansing the Skin
Choosing a cleanser really all depends on your skin type and skin needs but a gentle, milky cleanser is always a safe bet! It will cleanse the skin without stripping, drying out or irritating the skin. I know us oily skin and acne prone gals think we should use a stripping, acne medicated cleanser but sometimes giving your skin a break to let heal is what it needs so it’s always good to have a great, basic cleanser. Try products like
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser $10
- CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser $12
- Philosophy Purity Cleanser $23
- Fresh Soy Cleanser $15 - $38
- First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser $20
Exfoliating the Skin
Exfoliating can completely change your skin. I exfoliate once a week sometimes more depending on the method of exfoliation used. Exfoliating with a face scrub, cleansing brush (like the clarisonic), chemical peels, chemical exfoliants, etc remove the dead, dull layers of the skin so your skin will be more radiant, smooth and beautiful! Exfoliating helps keep your pores tight and small by keeping them clean so no dirt and dead skin cloggs them up. Exfoliating also helps all your skin care sink in and be more effective since no dead skin is in the way! Your skin’s texture and tone will become more smooth and even over time. I can’t emphasize enough the important of exfoliating! lol
Treating the Skin
Personally, I find using some sort of concentrated serum or oil essential to skin health. Serums and oils have high concentrations of ingredients to help with acne, aging, dark spots, dry skin, oily skin, skin’s radiance, skin’s texture, etc. There are so many serums and oils for different skin issues. I love oils and serums aimed to be brightening and resurfacing so I can have smooth, radiant skin. However you might want to do some research on serums and oils for specific skin problems you have to get one more targeted for your skin. You don’t use oils and serums together, you normally use one or the other under your moisturizer so you don’t need both! I have two I use on and off.
Some serums and oils I love are
- Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil/Concentrate $46
- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum $62
- Pai Rose Hip Oil $36
- The Body Shop Vitamin E Over Night Serum $26
Moisturizing the Skin
I have a more in-depth post on moisturizers for different skin types, day and night, etc which you can find here. But basically, moisturizing is very important! It will keep your skin healthy and firm as you age and keep your skin balanced so it won’t be overly dry or overly oily. A thicker, rich night cream or thick moisturizer is always good!
The first time I held a human brain in Anatomy Lab I was completely speechless. I looked at my classmates expecting a similar reaction and they looked back at me confused like…”dude let’s start identifying the structures.” I had to take a step back and let it process…in my hands was someone’s entire life. From start to finish, every memory, every emotion, every bodily control…was right there in my hands.
This is exactly why we have this technology
